Sol-gel synthesis of pure transition metal oxides like Nickel oxide nanoparticles (NPs) has attracted the researcher's attention due to its simple, rapid, cost-effective, environmentally safe and time saving nature. Current studies were carried out to perform and investigate the sol-gel synthesis of NiO NPs. The technique was accompanied by formation of green color precipitates which were washed with distilled water, dried and calcinated at 5000C for 6 hours to get nickel oxide nanoparticles. The fabricated NiO nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, The X-ray powder diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy. Energy dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy. Result revealed that synthesized NiO nanoparticles with biological effectiveness for application in nanomedicine field.
