GREEN SOLUTIONS FOR GUT HEALTH AND HORMONAL BALANCE IN WOMEN: EXPLORING A REVIEW TARGETING RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN MAHARASHTRA

Hormonal imbalances in women, notably conditions such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), infertility, and menopause-related disorders, are rising across India, with Maharashtra reflecting complex socio-demographic patterns that influence these outcomes. Emerging evidence links gut microbiota dysbiosis with estrogen metabolism and hormonal disorders, positioning the gut as a therapeutic target. Recent advancements, including next-generation probiotics, postbiotics, personalized microbiome therapies, and eco-friendly encapsulation technologies, offer sustainable strategies to address these issues. This review explores. Eco-friendly strategies for gut health modulation and evaluates their potential outcomes on women's hormonal health within the diverse ethnographic context of Maharashtra. Health benefits include improved menstrual regulation, enhanced fertility, mental health improvements, and overall metabolic health, emphasizing an integrative, sustainable approach to women's welfare.
